Guest
How close are these models to eachother in size and shape? They look similar in picture.
Purajh
These both come from the same kit. just different options when you assemble them. https://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Dark-Angels-Nephilim-Jetfigher "This multi-part plastic kit can make either a Ravenwing Dark Talon or a Nephilim Jetfighter"

Guest
Yeah, lightning is the FW one. Was thinking about using the dark talon as the lightning in games of 30k. I play DA either way, so means I have one less model that only works in 40k.
WestRider
I couldn't find any side-by-side comparison shots, but I did find a couple of the Lightning with rulers nearby showing a wingspan of about 23cm. If you've got a Dark Talon on hand to check, that should pretty much tell you what you need to know, since they are very similar in shape. Dark Talon as a Lightning is an often used and accepted counts-as in 30K circles.

Aventine
Awesome, thanks . My other favorite straight vehicle sub is Hunter as a Scorpius (though you can use a Scorpius in 40K anyway)
