In my "old" years, seems like my painting style has solidified around a reoccurring high contrast red, white & blue paint scheme, with gloss coat, for pretty much every thing (also green, pink, purple, grey, though they aren't often the main colors). It wasn't intended to be patriotic colors, I didn't even notice it right away, but it sure is. I'll change the focused main colors for different armies, but it works so I stick with it.
