Please get your final games schedule ASAP, and use the required Tourplay scheduler to record it. The ODBL final will follow shortly after. Weav Posted September 1 Author Report Share Posted September 1 ODBL coaches and fans: we have reached the (near) end of the regular season! One game remains, but it has no impact on the finals. So which teams made the Prism Bowl? Well, you’re hopefully all aware that @James’s College of Heavens team Cosmo & Quasar’s School of Stars won the DUN-6 Conference with a 5-0 record! The School of Stars will represent the DUN-6 in the final game. In the No Sky Conference, both Garden State College and Gobtown University went 4-1. This means we have to go to tie-breakers. Head-to-head is the first, but the random schedule did not give us a match between the teams. The second tie-breaker was record vs tied opponents, but only two teams were tied, and they didn’t play. The third and final tie-breaker is CAS differential. That’s not a satisfying tie-breaker, but given the nature of Dungeon Bowl, and such a short schedule, it’s as good as a commissioner can do. With that, I want to congratulate the winner of the No Sky Conference, and their ODBL finals representative, @Nathaniel Dalerio’s College of Metal team Gobtown University of Muscle Magic! Coach James and coach Nathaniel have until Saturday 9/7/2024 to play the Prism Bowl. Thank you all for playing! For the second time in the ODBL’s history, the College of Metal takes home the honors. This time, it is @Nathaniel Dalerio’s Gobtown University of Muscle Magic! Weav Posted September 2 Author Report Share Posted September 2 Thanks to all the coaches who made the Summer 2024 ODBL season happen! Games were played timely throughout the season, making the commissioner’s job easy. Some of learned we still love Dungeon Bowl, some of us learned we don’t like it; both are okay! It is my intention to run the third season of the ODBL in the Spring. Will the College of Metal win a third season championship? We’ll find out next year.
