Ish
Multiple news outlets are reporting that Brigadier General Chuck Yeager has passed one last barrier at the age of 97. Yeager's three-war active-duty flying career spanned more than 30 years. As a test pilot, he became the first human to break the sound barrier and paved the way for the space program. “You do what you can for as long as you can, and when you finally can't, you do the next best thing. You back up but you don't give up.” –Chuck Yeager 4
Sgt. Rock
I read about this last night. I want to be sad, but he was a great man who left his mark indelibly on history, and lived for longer than most of us will. He had a good run and accomplished great things, and there's no sadness to be had in a life like that, only celebration. Here's to you, Chuck.
Duckman
Not to mention that the boy walked away from more than one crash that left people amazed that he was still alive. An amazing man and from what I have read also a good man.
