Duckman
The thread about GG got me wondering. My wife and I are moving back to the west coast and the greater Portland area is one possibility (we both work from home so we really are pretty flexible). Most likely up outside Vancouver actually. So the question is, where do OFCC people go for minis play?
andy
Vancouverite here. I play in my basement, because it's super-close to home and serves whatever beverage I'm in the mood for. 😉 If that wasn't available, I'd play at Ordo/WoW in Portland on Tuesday nights or maybe at Dice Age (also in Vancouver). Most stores are too loud for me. I can't imagine playing at Guardian Games. 3
Torg
in that area ('couv) I have played at Fate and Fury games. Did some Apoc there most recently. But I don't live anywhere close to that area lol. -d 1
Andrewgeddon
I'm Vancouver as well, Dice Age is my go-to place. Great terrain, great store, usually don't have trouble getting a table for a game on a Saturday, unless there is an event going on. They sell beer as well, albeit a limited selection.

I do, however, live there. 2
Sgt. Rock
I work/play at Fate & Fury in Vancouver. Super fun environment, really laid back. A little vulgar at times, but they don't tolerate BS. I also play at Ordo and occasionally at Guardian, if they have an event going on that I"m interested in.
Brother Glacius
In my basement, or a friend's house mostly. Though I do go down to Guardian and play there from time to time for specific events. The back room is not noisy at all, but you do have to be 21. So not great if you want to bring your kids to play. WoW is good, but Tuesdays are such an odd time to go play a game. Raindog
Good games are found at Dice Age and Fate and Fury in Vancouver. Portland Games Store in N. Portland. Guardian is a no brainer. Glimpses of Wonder is good in Sherwood. I hear the store in Oregon City is okay, but I have not been there. 3

I guess it depends on what games you are looking to play, because certain stores have more focus on different games.
Guest
I'm in Hillsboro/Beaverton. I go to GG. I also game at WOW. And recently I went to Retro Game Trader's "Club Room" to play magic the gathering. Even got to see @Brick Bungalow's brother. It was a pleasent experience. There is a Warhammer store right near my house, but I've sworn off them until july. They have a pretty good location and it's a good place to play. EDIT: I supposed I'm not an OFCC person. Somehow missed that.

Why swear off the Warhammer store? I have issues with them for other reasons but that means I have sworn off them for life (since they only want people playing their games in the store) not until July. Ian, guy that runs it is great. Got into an alteration with some players where one of them, while angry, grabbed my models. I decided 6 months was enough time for me to forget the affair. So July. I did cheat once to attend the the store birthday.
Weav
Pretty much only WOW on Ordo game nights. Great people, decent space, and you can talk like an adult. Buy local, play at WOW.
