Sgt. Rock
Okay, noob question. Where the hell do you find the section in the various rules that explains keywords like vehicle, fly, biker, etc.? I've looked in the big rulebook and the codex, and I can't find anything that explains it.

InfestedKerrigan
Some things have changed since previous editions. USR/Keywords being one of them. They are not interchangeale anymore. Think of them more like expanded unit sub categories.
InfestedKerrigan
Like, most things resembling jet fighters say "Can only be charged in melee by units with the FLY keyword." With individual model/unit movement values being listed on unit entry, instead of being dictated by BRB/USRs, FLY doesn't provide BRB benefits, persay. Sgt. Rock
Okay, so basically, when something says "Jump Pack" it doesn't have any special rules, just is a keyword for interaction with other rules? I suppose that makes sense, then.
WestRider
Yep. The big one that interacts with a ton of things is Fly, because that affects how you interact with Terrain, Falling Back, all kinds of stuff like that. The rest mostly just interact with a few specific things.

One big exception is Transports. Transports have specific transport rules in the core rulebook.

Transport is also always listed as an ability on Vehicles that have it, usually along with restrictions on the Keywords needed by Models riding in/on that Vehicle, and any modifications or special notes (like TERMINATORS counting as two Models in a Land Raider). I just meant that it had additional rules in the rulebook, where as most keywords only interact with other unit abilities and don't really have their own rules beyond anything mentioned in the unit entry. Fly, as mentioned above, is the other one like this.
Guest
And then there's the advanced terrain rules, which mention all sorts of unit types and interactions there.
